CD COVER
Cover Title: M. dandan
Artist: Mary Grace Jun Vida Dandan
The emphasis for this cover is nature so the pictures were shot outside with trees. The objects in the picture that look like bugs are just tree trunks put together to create a visual effect. In the cd cover, the M stands for Mary, Mother, and Mother Nature. It's a self titled album to convey simplicity and has raw emotions that show Mary's true self. Show's the personality of the subject; trying to portray her everyday emotions; connecting with her. It is "M" for her mother because that's her muse who she wrote about. It is also "M" for mother nature because nature is what inspires her songs.
It was my first time ever using photoshop and it literally took 4 hours trying to figure out how to work the program. In the end, I ended up using Paint to help me put the pictures together but the rest was all photoshopped. I created other works for the Cd so I'll post those up later. I learned how to fuse different pictures together to make them look like one whole picture. And when shooting, I played with different lighting to see how my pictures would turn out. Some turned out dark, but the angles were excellent. Shooting in the afternoon makes your pictures either too dark or too bright because of the sun. Note to self: Bring umbrella and reflector for next NATURE SHOOT.
